What to Pack for a Desert Tour

Desert trips mean big temperature swings. Here's what we tell our guests to pack:

• Light layers for the day, a warm jacket for the night
• A scarf or turban for sand and sun
• Closed shoes for dune walks
• A power bank — camps don't always have outlets
